Yes. Safety is our priority. Each ceremony is guided by experienced, trauma-aware facilitators. You are never left alone, our team is with you every step. We follow Indigenous traditions with full respect and care.
What’s the difference between Bufo and Aya?
Bufo (5-MeO-DMT) is considered the most powerful psychedelic on the planet. It’s sourced from the secretion of the Bufo Alvarius toad and typically lasts 15–30 minutes. It creates a fast, complete ego dissolution and often leads to a sense of unity, love, and spiritual rebirth.
Aya is a plant-based brew containing DMT, known for its visionary and introspective journeys that last 4–6 hours. Our retreat uses Xanga, a smokable, Mayan version of Aya blended with other herbs. It’s gentler and used as a warm-up to Bufo.
How do I prepare?
We’ll guide you every step of the way. Before the retreat, we recommend:
- Reducing alcohol, cannabis, and processed foods.
- Spending time in reflection or journaling.
- Coming with an open mind and no expectations.
You’ll also receive specific preparation guidance after booking, including what to pack, what to avoid, and how to mentally and spiritually get ready.
Is this legal?
The medicines we work with are part of ancient Indigenous traditions and are legal in the context in which we offer them in Mexico.
We work respectfully within these traditions, in partnership with Indigenous medicine carriers, and follow all local guidelines. This is a spiritual retreat, not a recreational experience.
